Your words stay yours.

This page explains what Larry stores about you, why, and how to remove it. If anything here is unclear, email us and we'll clarify it directly rather than pointing you back at this page.
What we store
- Your email address, so you can sign in and reach your saved words on another device.
- The words and phrases you choose to save, along with the show, episode, and line they came from.
- Usage counters (things like how many words you've saved or reviewed), so review timing and daily limits work correctly.
This data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, in their Asia-Pacific region.
Subtitle text
The Thai and translated subtitle lines Larry shows you are processed only to display the overlay in your browser while you watch. We do not store subtitle or video content on our servers.
Email delivery
Sign-in codes and any account emails are sent through Resend, our transactional email provider. Resend sees the email address and message content needed to deliver that mail; it does not receive your saved words.
Payments
Larry has no paid plan yet. When billing launches, payments will be handled by Paddle as merchant of record. Your card details go directly to Paddle and never pass through Larry's own servers.
Analytics
We use PostHog for product analytics, and only if you explicitly opt in. Nothing is sent to PostHog before you tick that box, and you can withdraw consent at any time from your profile. When it is on, events are tied to an internal user ID, never your email address.
What we never do
- We never sell your data to anyone, for any reason.
- We never turn on analytics without your explicit opt-in.
- We never store or re-share the video or subtitle files from Netflix.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile in Review Studio, or by emailing hello@fluentlarry.com. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your saved words, review history, and account are all removed.
Netflix
Larry is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Netflix. It reads the subtitles already available inside your own Netflix session; it does not provide or stream Netflix content itself.
